Canadian Tax Exemption for First Nations status holders

Applies to First Nations peoples of Canada that hold a valid Certificate of Indigenous Status (HST, PST, RST, and QST). This exemption applies to the provincial portion of taxes for individuals. 

If you are eligible for tax exemption, please email us your customer profile name and a valid copy of your status card before placing your order to:

Subject title: "Canadian Tax Exemption"

We will then apply your tax exemption proof to your customer profile for all future orders. You will recieve a confirmation email upon completion. Please allow 1-3 business days for your confirmation email. If your status card is invalid, we unfortunately cannot proceed with tax exemption on orders until valid card is presented and updated into our system.
Any orders placed before proof of exemption status will need to be refunded and reprocessed.

Gift Cards

The balance on a gift card can be spent on more than one order. Gift card balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include taxes and shipping.

When you redeem our gift card, the checkout displays one of the following options:

  • If the balance available on the gift card is greater than or equal to the order total, then the customer can click Complete order.

  • If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, then the customer is prompted to choose a second payment method for the balance before placing the order.


If you want to buy a gift card for someone else, you need to forward the gift card email to your recipient's email after purchasing. Unfortunately at this time due to system limitations, we are unable to directly send a gift card from buyer to recipent without forwarding.

The Good Vibez Collective is currently an online boutique with no physical store. Our company location is reserved for production, and fullfillment of online orders. We are located in Southwestern, Ontario, Canada.

Orders

As our team works quickly to get your order ready to ship as soon as possible, we may not be able to cancel your order upon request. If your order has not yet been fulfilled, it can be fully refunded if you request to cancel the order within 24 hours of your purchasing date. Please contact us at info@thegvcollective.com with your order number and we will happily look into that for you.
Unfortunately, your order cannot be cancelled if it has already been fulfilled.

Our order confirmations should arrive to your email within 15 minutes after puchasing.
If you did not receive an order confirmation after placing an order, contact info@thegvcollective.com to verify your email address. You can also check your spam/junk folder to see if the email is misplaced.

Once you’ve added your items to the cart, you then submit the order by clicking the "check out" button, complete your order with your prefered online card payment on the check out page, and your delivery information. When the order is confirmed, we receive a notification to prepare your purchase (with lots of love) for shipping or local drop off within (2) business days (exluding weekend and civic holidays).

If you have an account with us, simply log in and select “My Orders” in the drop-down menu under your name. There, you can find the order number. If you haven't created an account, you can create one at your convience with the same email address used to place the order.

With every order we send an order confirmation email, which is sent to the same email used to make the purchase. Make sure to check all inboxes as it can make its way to junk or spam folder in your email.

 

Tracking numbers are automatically sent as soon as your order is packed if you selected tracking during the check out process. Once the mail courier recieves the package and scans it into the system, the tracking number can be used to see the information about your order. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for packages once they are in the hands of the post office or mail courier. We also will not contact these resources on your behalf. If both of these resources still can not help you, feel free to contact us at info@thegvcollective.com and we will open an investigation on your package. 

Have an account with us?

First, log into your account (login is located at the top of our home page) at any time and select "My Orders" to review your order status. Once your order is packaged and ready to ship, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can keep an eye on its activity while it makes its way to you. O
rders shipped with Standard Untracked shipping will not have a tracking number and have a 9-12 business days transit time frame.

No account?
Not an issue, You can use the same email address that you placed your order with to create an account and it will appear under "My Orders".

This Privacy Policy describes how thegvcollective.com (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Collecting Personal Information

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 14 without parental or guardian supervision. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children.   • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.

Shipment Processing Time

All orders are typically processed within two (2) to three (3) business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Please refer to Canada Post working hours schedule for more information.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we expect a significant delay to ship your order, we will contact you via the email or telephone number that you provided us.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

All shipments are handled by Canada Post. Shipping rates are calculated based on the package weight & the shipping address. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email that contains your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped.

Damages

The GV Collective Inc. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact us with your order number, tracking code, receiving address, a list of the damaged item(s) & photos of the damaged item(s). We will contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.

We take sanitation within our order processing into top priority for everyones saftey. We ensure a proper hand washing protocol before processing, and clean work areas prior to shipping each package and clean afterwards at the end of each day.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Can I refuse to accept the order upon delivery?
If your decision is to refuse the delivery of your order to avoid taxes or duties or if you change your mind, you will be responsible for the return shipping fee charged to The GV Collective Inc. This fee amount is dependent on your country. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are typically processed within two (2) to three (3) business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Please refer to Canada Post working hours schedule for more information.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If we expect a significant delay to ship your order, we will contact you via the email or telephone number that you provided us.

Our delivery times are estimated only and are not guaranteed. They will
always be estimated in business days (this does not include
weekends/holidays). Once the packages are sent to our shipping provider,
arrival times are out of our control and in the hands of the shipping service
that has been selected.

The GV Collective INC. is not held responsible for the following:

  • Mistakes made by Canada Post
  • Wrong addresses given by customers
  • Damage to orders by postal service
  • PO box issues
  • Stolen packages after delivery (we do not recommend the Canada Post “safe drop” option)

Shipping Service Related Impact due to Covid-19

Your order is not guaranteed to be late but this is just a precautionary step we need to take to inform you of the current global situation and possibility of expected delays.

Our carriers have informed us of delays due to record-breaking e-commerce orders, COVID-19 closures and safety concerns, as well as weather events. Your order may be impacted by these delays.

All orders outside of Canada may experience a delay due to high demand and restrictions posed by COVID-19. All orders over $20 CAD may be automatically required to go through a customs clearance processing. Kindly note Canadian Customs has experienced a high rate of absenteeism due to COVID-19 delaying the processing of packages. They are working cautiously to get your packages to you.

Expect delays in standard shipping during this time and with expedited, Xpress or priority shipping. Canada Post can no longer guarantee regular or on-time shipping estimates given the current global situation as they accommodate the increased service demands with mail and parcel delivery of Christmas-level volumes of mail and limited staff.

 If your tracking shows a label has been created:
Our production team has shipped your package, but it could still be at the post office. Many carrier facilities are operating at full capacity with a backlog of scanning packages due to limited staff. There may not be updated tracking events for you to check on until your parcel has been scanned and sorted, or is Out for Delivery.

If your order is in transit:
Kindly note that your package may be held by the carrier for delivery at a later date due to the world circumstances beyond their control as carriers quarantine some packages. There may not be updated tracking events for you to check on until your parcel is Out for Delivery.

If you would like to track your order, opt for the expedited shipping options.

  • Orders over $50 CAD qualify for free shipping within Canada.
  • Orders over $60 CAD outside of Canada ship for free. *Some Exclusions Apply 
  • Orders under $50 CAD will be charged for shipping depending on your chosen delivery method and country. Full price will be displayed at checkout. 

    All Shipping prices are calculated at checkout before you purchase.
  • We ship within Canada and worldwide to most countries.
  • Shipping time might vary depending on location, shipment method and other factors.
  • Shipping options will be shown at checkout for your choice of shipment method.
We fullfill your order in house at our location and we ship with Canada post (standard letter mail). This can take anywhere from 7-21 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) once the orders have been dropped off to Canada Post. Expedited and Priority Shipping options are availabe at checkout. Our delivery times are only estimated and are not guaranteed. They will always be estimated in business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once the packages arrive in the hands of our shipping provider, arrival times are out of our control and in the hands of the shipping service that has been selected. 

The GV Collective Inc and Canada Post are not responsible for lost packages if your shipping address is entered incorrectly or your package has been stolen. 

North America
Duties and taxes applied at check-out according to the state/province of the shipping address.

United States
Duties are included. Taxes are applied at check-out according to the state/province of the shipping address. We are not responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance and we’re not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please note on rare occasions customs agents may delay delivery of some packages.


United Kingdom
United Kingdom: 20% VAT is paid at checkout. Orders over $135 GBP may attract additional import duties. Packages may not be delivered until additional charges are paid.

International shipments outside of Canada & USA
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which incur once a shipment reaches your country. Please note that The GV Collective Inc. does not have any control over these fees and we cannot advise as to what the costs will be, as they vary by country. The general amount for duties and taxes fee is about 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. For more information, please contact your local customs office for specific amounts and percentages. Keep in mind that we are not responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance and we’re not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please note on rare occasions customs agents may delay delivery of some packages.

Foreign Transaction Fees

The GV Collective Inc. does not charge additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order. Other fees applied by your bank are not under the control of The GV Collective Inc.
We are based out of Canada and our ‘home’ currency of Canadian dollars will show up on the final receipt.

International taxes might be applied depending on your country's taxes policy.

Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods: The percentage or rate varies depending on the type of goods.

The customs value is made up of:

  • the price paid for the goods
  • the insurance cost
  • the shipping cost
